Our story begins in 1965, with a 12 kg electric roasting machine and the intuition of Carlo Schillig, founder, carried forward together with the contribution and passion of his father Karl and brother Peter Schillig.
Caffè Carlito was born from the care we put into the whole process, from gradually bringing the beans to an optimal temperature in the roasting process for aroma development, and observing an ideal post-roasting resting time to bring out all the flavor.

Our barista is Green Latte Art Grading System certified, which means he has achieved a level of mastery in creating artistic decorations in coffee. He not only delivers spectacular drinks to our customers, but is also able to pass on his knowledge through training courses. Thanks to us, you can become an expert barista and get your Latte Art Grading System certification.

Our 100% organic and Arabica Espresso blends from Peru boast Fairtrade Max Havelaar certification. This certification ensures a minimum income for producers by covering production costs and encouraging sustainable farming practices.

The distinguished gastronomic guide appreciates our café and chooses it for their events. Our partnership began in 2019 with the Star Revelation event in Lucerne, Switzerland, a country known for having the highest ratio of inhabitants to starred restaurants in Europe. Since then, we have been present at all of their events in the Swiss territory. Recently, we have also extended the partnership to Michelin Guide France and the Nordic countries, further consolidating our presence internationally.
